Ecoroofs Oregon is a Portland, Oregon based group of botanists and roofers committed to advancing urban ecology. We pride ourselves on contributing to high-performance green infrastructure that bridges the gap between natural landscapes and modern developments.
Our Story
Ecoroofs Oregon was founded in 2005 as a branch of Manning Design and Construction. Dan and Sherry Manning expanded their construction and seismic upgrade business to include the installation and maintenance of green roofs, helping Portland grow its reputation as a green roofing hub of the U.S.
Our Team
Tom Hauser
Originally transplanted from the shores of Lake Michigan to Portland, Oregon, Tom has years of experience in landscape construction and habitat restoration. He is passionate about creating spaces that foster connection between communities and the broader ecosystem. When he’s not working on green roofs, he’s most likely off hiking or camping with his wife.
Andrew Robinson
Andrew was born in Portland and has spent his life in the Pacific Northwest. He brings extensive experience in project management, supported by a background in forest management and river restoration, with a strong focus on watershed health. Outside of his professional work, he serves as the Chair of the Aurora Parks Committee, where he oversees the city’s natural areas and secures funding to enhance local parks. On weekends, Andrew can often be found outdoors climbing, in the shop woodworking, or pulling weeds in his garden.
